Day 1,
Fri: USA - Warsaw
Overnight departure to Warsaw. Enjoy your in-flight meals and entertainment.
Day 2 (D) Sat: Warsaw
Arrival, transfer to your hotel: Intercontinental
Warsaw. Meeting with your guide in the hotel lobby at 6:00 PM, dinner with
folklore show.
Day 3 (B/L) Sun: Warsaw
Highlights of your half-day tour include the Old Town, rebuilt with
great reverence after World War II, the beautiful Old Market Square, The
Barbican and medieval defense walls. Continue to the Jewish Ghetto Memorial
dedicated to the victims of Nazi brutality. Visit the Monument of the 1944
Warsaw Uprising. Then drive along the Royal Route, important for its place in
Polish history. Next, the Royal Castle - former residence of Polish kings.
Afternoon
visit to Wilanow Palace, often hailed as the Polish Versailles, set among
stately English and French gardens. The building's interiors are ornately
decorated with treasures of the Italian, French, and Polish Baroque.
Lunch. Afternoon Chopin recital.
Day 4 (B/L) Mon: Warsaw - Czestochowa
- Auschwitz - Zakopane
Morning departure to Zakopane via Czestochowa. En-route visit to the Jasna Gora Monastery
and shrine, where the sacred painting of the Black Madonna is venerated. Lunch
in Czestochowa. Visit to Auschwitz - the former Nazi concentration
camp. Afternoon, continuing on to Zakopane.

Day 5 (B/D) Tue: Zakopane - Krakow
After breakfast, sightseeing of Zakopane and its charming wooden
architecture. Breathtaking views of the Tatra Mountains are yours after taking a cable car
to the top of Mt. Gubalowka. Afternoon raft trip down the Dunajec River Gorge. Drive
to Krakow. Dinner at a local restaurant. Accommodations at the Novotel
Bronowice or similar.
Day 6 (B/D) Wed: Krakow - Wieliczka - Krakow
After breakfast, morning sightseeing of this beautiful city includes: Wawel
Castle, Market Square, Cloth Hall, and St. Mary's Church, home to Wit Stwosz
masterpiece altar. Afternoon excursion to 700 year old Wieliczka
Salt Mine, famous for its crystalline caves and underground chapels adorned with
statues sculptured from salt. Dinner with folklore show at a local restaurant.
Day 7 (B/L) Thu: Krakow - Warsaw
Departure for Warsaw. Lunch. The rest of the day is free for last minute
shopping or individual pursuits. Accomodations at the Intercontinental
Warsaw.
Day 8 (B) Fri: Warsaw - USA
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight back home. As an
option, you can extend your stay in Poland on individual basis.
