Day 1,
Fri: USA - Warsaw
Overnight departure to Warsaw. Enjoy your in-flight meals and entertainment.
Day 2 (D) Sat: Warsaw
Arrival, transfer to your hotel: Novotel
Warsaw Centrum. Meeting with your guide in the hotel lobby at 6:00 PM, dinner
at the hotel.
Day 3 (B/L) Sun: Warsaw
A morning sightseeing tour of Warsaw and its marvelously
reconstructed Old Town quarter. Visit Market Square, the Barbican, medieval
defense walls, the Royal Castle, and the Jewish Ghetto Memorial dedicated to the
thousands of lives taken by the Nazis. Visit the monument of the 1944 Warsaw
Uprising. A visit to Wilanow Palace, often hailed as the Polish Versailles, set among
stately English and French gardens. The building's interiors are ornately
decorated with treasures of the Italian, French, and Polish Baroque. Lunch at local restaurant. Afternoon
at leisure. Evening Chopin recital in one of the palaces..
Day 4 (B/L) Mon: Warsaw - Czestochowa
- Auschwitz - Krakow
The trip to Krakow leads us past Czestochowa, site of Jasna Gora Monastery.
ON your tour of the church and monastery, you will see the portrait of the Black
Madonna, venerated as Poland's holiest icon. Lunch. Visit to Auschwitz, site of
the infamous Nazi concentration camp, so chillingly evoked in the movie
"Schindler's List." Continue to Krakow.

Day 5 (B/D) Tue: Krakow - Wieliczka - Krakow
Krakow has over 1,000 buildings and monuments of historical and
architectural interest. Your tour includes Wawel Hill and its Gothic cathedral,
Royal Chambers and striking Arras tapestries. Afternoon excursion to Wieliczka
Salt Mines, an unforgettable three mile long underground walk through chambers,
caves, and chapels adorned with statues sculptured from salt. Dinner at a local
restaurant.
Day 6 (B/L) Wed: Krakow - Zakopane
After breakfast, we go to Zakopane, a resort town high up in the scenic
Tatra Mountains, a great area for walking, hiking and resting. A cable car will
take you to Mt. Gubalowka for a thrilling panoramic view of the surrounding
valley. Lunch. Free time in the afternoon. Accommodations at the Mercure
Kasprowy
Hotel.
Day 7 (B/D) Thu: Zakopane - Wroclaw
After breakfast, we drive to Wroclaw. Dinner. Accommodations at the Wroclaw Hotel.
Day 8 (B/D) Fri: Wroclaw - Rydzyna
We start our day with city sightseeing of Wroclaw. Among the sites
featured in this medieval city are the 13th century Town Hall, Gothic cathedral
and the striking diorama, which depicts the Battle of Raclawice. Afternoon drive to Rydzyna.
Dinner with sausage roasting over open fire. Accommodations at the Rydzyna
Castle Hotel.
Day 9 (B/L) Sat: Rydzyna - Poznan - Torun
A city
both historic and modern, Poznan boasts an impressive Town Hall, numerous
churches and palaces whose architecture runs from Gothic to Renaissance to the
Neoclassical, all of which you will see on your morning tour. Lunch.
Afternoon
drive to Torun, free time. Accommodations at the Mercure
Helios Hotel or similar.
Day 10 (B/L) Sun: Torun - Gdynia
Morning sightseeing of Torun, the charming medieval town so closely
associated with the great astronomer Copernicus. Lunch. Afternoon drive to Gdynia.

Hotel.
Day 11 (B/L) Mon: Gdynia - Sopot - Gdansk - Gdynia
The harbor town of Gdynia is the youngest member of the tri-city complex,
consisting of Gdansk, Sopot, and Gdynia. Though the youngest, Gdynia is a major
seaport with beautiful beaches. Nearby Sopot is an old world resort with grand
hotels, boardwalks, beaches and resort pleasures. Gdansk, the oldest of the
three, is a magnificent restoration of a Hanseatic port city, with a stunning
Town Hall, Neptune's Fountain, Gothic churches, romantic cobblestone alleys and
breezy harbor promenades. You will see them all and hear a recital on the famous
organ in Oliwa Cathedral. Lunch. Free time in the afternoon.
Day 12 (B/L) Tue: Gdynia - Gdansk - Gdynia
Today's excursion leads to Westerplatte, where the first shots of World War
II were fired, now a memorial to those who defended and liberated Gdansk. Lunch. Free time in the
afternoon.
Day 13 (B/L) Wed: Gdynia - Malbork - Warsaw
Following the Vistula River, the road back to Warsaw leads us past Malbork,
a mighty fortress and former seat of the once powerful Teutonic Knights. Lunch. Continue on to Warsaw.

Day 14 (B/D) Thu: Warsaw
After breakfast, visit to the Royal Castle, an ornate former residence of
Polish kings. Free time. Farewell dinner with
folklore show.
Day
15 (B) Fri: Warsaw - USA
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight back home. As an
option, you can extend your stay in Poland on individual basis.
Prices with airline tickets and transfers. Departure
